In diesen Tagen erscheinen weltweit die ersten vollst\u00e4ndigen Testberichte zur Pentax Q. Mit dabei sind sehr umfangreiche Testreihen, Vergleiche zu anderen spiegellosen Kamerasystemen sowie Vergleiche zu anderen Pentax-Kameras. Weitere Tests sind sicherlich schon in Arbeit…<\/p>\n

Die gro\u00dfe englischsprachige Community „pentaxforums.com“ hat einen sehr umfangreichen Testbericht der Q ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Damit verbunden ist auch ein Vergleich mit der Olympus PEN Lite E-PL3, die mit einem wesentlich gr\u00f6\u00dferen Sensor und einer etwas gr\u00f6\u00dferen Bauform eine \u00e4hnliche Zielgruppe ansprechen soll. Das Fazit f\u00e4llt f\u00fcr beide Kameras an sich positiv aus, der hohe Kaufpreis wird aber kritisiert – im gleichen Preissegment kann man auch eine K-r mit Objektiv erwerben.<\/p>\n

Als Fazit wird gezogen: „The Q is a big step up from a point and shoot digital camera due to its responsiveness and better image quality and it is less intimidating than going directly for a DSLR. The Q would also be a fine 2nd (or „travel light“) camera for Pentax DSLR shooters. Since it largely has the same features and control layout as a Pentax DSLR it is easy to use and switching between the two is no head ache.<\/em>“<\/p>\n

Bereits vor einiger Zeit hat dpreview.com ein ausf\u00fchrliches Preview der Pentax Q ver\u00f6ffentlicht, das einen guten \u00dcberblick \u00fcber die Kamera liefert. Detaillierte Aussagen zu Funktionen und Qualit\u00e4t der Fotos sind dort allerdings noch nicht zu finden.<\/p>\n

„The Q gives the impression it might be a product of its namesake from the James Bond films – it’s easy to conceal about one’s person, there’s a hint of cold-war camera chic in its apparently impeccable engineering and the overall concept is just ever-so-slightly eccentric.<\/em>“<\/p>\n

Der erste \u00dcberblick endet auch hier mit einem sehr positiven Fazit: „So far, I like the Pentax Q better than any small camera I’ve used before. I’ll provide more detail and reveal whether my initial impressions of the Pentax Q stand the test of time (and heavy use) in our upcoming full review of this nifty new camera.<\/em>“<\/p>\n

Ein gutes Hands on Video ist seit wenigen Tagen bei DigitalRev TV anzusehen. In ca. 10 min wird hier ein \u00dcberblick \u00fcber die Kamera gegeben, aber kein vertiefter technischer Test vorgenommen.<\/p>\n

Ein insgesamt positives Hands On Preview liefert whatdigitalcamera.com bereits Anfang September 2011: „In summary I enjoyed using the Pentax Q. The pre-production sample we used was a little glitchy – it didn’t always find focus, and the exposures were a bit inconsistent, especially when the ISO was altered (see samples below) but I’d hope that these issues will be ironed out before the Q hits the shops in the next few weeks.<\/em>“<\/p>\n

Die beschriebene Probleme konnte ich an der finalen Q in dieser Form nicht mehr feststellen, auch wenn die Autofokus-Leistung hinter der aktueller „echter“ Spiegelreflexkameras wie der K-5 zur\u00fcckbleibt.<\/p>\n

Einen sehr sch\u00f6nen Test der Pentax Q liefert PhotographyBLOG. Au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlich ist insbesondere die umfangreiche Galerie mit Original-Testfotos aus der Kamera, die sowohl JPEG- als auch RAW-Aufnahmen umfasst. Immerhin 27 RAW-Dateien mit sehr unterschiedlichen Einstellungen stehen so zum Herunterladen, Anschauen und Ausprobieren zur Verf\u00fcgung. Ebenso angeh\u00e4ngt ist ein \u00dcberblick \u00fcber die Hauptkonkurrenten der Q auf dem Kameramarkt.<\/p>\n

Das Ergebnis sieht die Kamera als „Above Average“ (d.h. \u00fcber dem Durchschnitt), was eine relativ schwache Bewertung ist und in erster Linie mit dem Kaufpreis begr\u00fcndet wird:<\/p>\n

„With a more sensible price, the Q could carve itself out a niche as an alternative to a high-end compact, but at current prices it stands little chance of success. Which is a real shame, as in many ways we really liked the Pentax Q. It’s small enough to slip inside a coat pocket, yet flexible enough to offer a DSLR-like take on the world. Ultimately though we just can’t recommend that you spend DSLR money on compact camera image quality<\/em>.“<\/p>\n

Hier bietet sich ein sehr umfangreicher Einblick in die Kamera, unterlegt mit vielen selbst gemachten Fotos auch au\u00dferhalb klassicher Testaufbauten. Das Fazit f\u00e4llt beinahe \u00fcberschw\u00e4nglich aus: „I had LOADS of fun with this camera while it was with me and it even was a conversation starter on 2 or 3 occasions as some thought it was a spy camera while others had no idea what it was! The image quality rocks for the size and if I were a wealthy man I would own one just for those days when I wanted to go super light or do some time lapse stuff. It\u2019s brilliant.\u00a0In all reality this camera is very good in all departments. All I can do is judge it from my use and I enjoyed it quite a bit. I wouldn\u2019t replace my X100 with it though as the IQ is not up to par with the bigger guys but it has its place if you can afford it or want to be the james bond of photography \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/em>“<\/p>\n
